Fund Raising
The team at Kin Capital has experience of successfully raising over £500m of capital over the last twelve years. We are sector agnostic and have raised capital for a diverse range of clients.

We specialise in fund raising for government approved venture capital tax efficient schemes, in particular the VCT, EIS, SEIS, SITR and BR schemes. We’re comfortable raising from £2m to £30m, depending on the investment strategy. Our fundraising focuses on advised investors via their financial advisers, and we have relationships with all the major wealth managers and IFAs.

Fund Management
In addition to our fund raising work, Kin Capital Partners LLP is authorised to act as fund manager to both Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and MiFID investment management services. We can also provide Authorised Representative (AR) status where appropriate.

Therefore we can provide the full regulatory umbrella to a firm (or individual) seeking to raise a fund. The client would structure each deal and advise us on which investment to make, acting as the Investment Adviser to the fund.

Custody & Client Money
We are also a IPRU125k firm, and hence authorised to act as a receiving agent, handle client assets and client money. Therefore we can receive fund applications, perform AML checks, receive and hold client cash and retain assets on behalf of investors post investment.

By acting as fund manager and custodian, this allows us to report to investors / advisers in a more timely manner given we are not reliant on 3rd parties to provide this service.

Offering these three core services makes Kin Capital a rare ‘one stop shop’; able to provide a full range of solutions for investment teams that want to focus their efforts on the investment process. With less counterparties involved, we can get funds off the ground more swiftly and give a better level of service than otherwise would be the case. Individual services can be tailored to client requirements.
