NEW EIS Fund launch – Fuel Ventures

We are excited to announce that we are fundraising for the evergreen Fuel Ventures EIS Fund, focusing on e-commerce and technology. The Fund is open for investment, please email us advisers@kincapital.co.uk for more information or click here to download the memorandum and summary.

The Fund is led by serial entrepreneur and investor Mark Pearson (who founded and sold discount website MyVoucherCodes) and his team. Having successfully raised three previous funds raising £21m to date, the Fuel Ventures EIS fund will be available to retail EIS investors. Fuel Ventures’ portfolio of companies, which includes logistics on demand platform Lift, digital gift card company Wegift and social retail start-up Moteefe, has generated more than £100m in revenue since investment.

Strategy: Capital growth

Sector: eCommerce and technology

Portfolio size: 5-8 companies

EIS Tax relief: 100% of subscription eligible for tax relief, net of adviser fees

Deadline: Applications received by 29th March 2019 will be eligible for income tax relief carry back to 17/18, as investments will be made by 5th April 2019
