Kin Capital is an independent firm operating in the tax-efficient investment industry, providing fundraising, fund management and custodial services. Kin represent EIS, VCT, SEIS and SITR funds, which are all government approved venture capital schemes.
Our team have over 38 years’ experience working with the top funds in the tax efficient space including Albion, Amati, Baronsmead, Blackfinch, Calculus Capital, Great Point Media, MMC Ventures, and Oxford Capital to name a few. We are passionate about alignment of interests and working with our stakeholders in a fair and transparent way.
Having previously held positions with St James’s Place and Brooks Wealth Management, Sherine joined the team as an Associate. She is a graduate of Aston Business School and a member of the CFA Society of the UK having successfully completed Unit 1 of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) – CFA UK.
Anthony focuses on fund management operations and client assets / custodian services. He is a Chartered Accountant having been trained at Deloitte and prior to joining Kin worked at Augentius – the international private equity and real estate fund service / depository provider. He has over 6 years’ experience in financial services.
Harriet is Director of sales and marketing, having previously worked for Calculus Capital, an EIS and VCT Fund; and Terrapinn where she worked both in New York and London. Her experience includes fundraising, investor relations, business development and marketing. Harriet graduated from Durham University and also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) – CFA UK.
Tom has over 12 years venture capital experience across front, middle and back office functions. Prior to co-founding Kin, he spent the six years as a partner at MMC Ventures, and prior to that Active Private Equity. Tom is a chartered accountant and holds a MBA from INSEAD.
Richard has over 12 years experience raising money for and structuring tax efficient investment funds. Prior to co-founding Kin, he spent four years as a partner at RAM Capital and before that Oxford Capital and Noble Group. He is a member of the global CFA Institute and UK’s Chartered Insurance Institute.
Mark focuses on business development and educating financial intermediaries about Kin’s range of products. He has over 10 years experience in financial services and in more recent years has been heavily focused in the ‘tax-efficient’ space at Blackfinch Investments. He is currently studying towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
